Our registered coordinator.
Pabs Place coordinator Tink McMullen, has lived experience, and many years industry experience. When we say lived experience, we mean I am a member of the disability community myself. I am a trailblazer in the area of ND affirming practice as the first service of its kind in CQ and have been nominated for many awards, including Australian of the Year.
Please see my bio's for more information.
Specialist Support Coordinator

Tink is a well known disability advocate, with many tribunal wins over the years.

Tink is a fiercely proud AUDHer, who has spent many years building employment opportunities for the disability community, while campaigning for access and disability rights, presenting educational websites for allies and loved ones of ND people, and increasing her knowledge of all things NDIS.

As a PDA autistic, with EDS, AS and the usual added bonuses, Tink has a good collection of award nominations, including Australian of the Year, and an international nomination in 2023 for the Celebrating Neurodiversity Awards.

NDIS is a passion for Tink, and supporting complex family units is her jam. This is a really important area to Tink, as her family often went unsupported, or at best under supported due to complexities.

Tink does a lot of charity work through Tinks Wish List, has built award winning NDIS support services in Unique Quality Care and AUsome Supports beside her adult children, and is now building Pabs Place with her partner Jason to ensure our community have a village and space to connect and find support.

Family units and neurokin are Tink's strength areas.
See Tink's autism page _faerlieutey_ on socials.

Why should I choose you? While I do have lots of qualifications and awards for my work over the years, they are nothing in comparison to my lived experience. I am a zebracornosaurus after all :-D :-D. We are a wholly neurodivergent family unit from me all the way across the generations to my little grandbabies. I am one of those bendy people with a side of dinosaur disease to keep things interesting. So an audher, with hEDS and AS, dysarthria, wild hair, and a ton of knowledge as assisting members of my community to achieve that utopian circle of support that they chose and that WORKS for them is my autistic glimmer. If I don't know it yet, I will find out! So if I am on your team you get a complete package of learned, lived and acquired NDIS knowledge

Are you NDIS registeredYes, we are NDIS registered for Coordination of Supports Level 2 and Specialist Support Coordination, plus other registrations that cover accommodation and training for carers, among others. Our support coordinator/SSC has eight years experience working as an NDIS registered specialist support coordinator, has lived experience as an NDIS participant, with children on the scheme, is an activist for ND affirming practises and an advocate within the disability community. Please check out her blogs on the blog page

What sort of education courses do you run?I tailor all my courses to the clients. I have developed training for support workers to begin their own direct support, family's to learn how best to navigate the NDIS from access, to plan budgets and implementation, to reviews of all kinds. I have run workshops from an autistic perspective, and development courses on inclusion and ND affirming business practices. And much much more. I even have support groups for many topics. Check them out under groups

Can I book an obligation free meet and greet?Of course! NDIS was built with choice and control for participants. It is a really good idea to meet a few coordinators to see who fits your team! Remember, it is your plan, your support, and your choice who gets the privilege to work within your team. Getting the right support coordinator is essential in ensuring that your plan, and the services engaged under it, work well for you! Hit the contact button and I will reach out and book a suitable time
