About

Welcome to the group! You can connect with other members, get updates and share videos.

We will share great ideas for sensory tools, NDIS information, and all sorts of other types of supports to help our community navigate the NDIS space.

Group Rules

Respect one another

Everyone has a different point of view so feel free to respectfully disagree. Please be kind and courteous at all times.

Be respectful of others’ privacy

Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. Some discussions may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so what’s said in the group should stay in the group.

Copyright infringement and trademark

When sharing others people’s posts, images and other content, do not infringe on their copyright or claim other people’s materials as your own.

No harassment of any kind

Bullying, targeting, or attacking a member of this group is not allowed and will not be tolerated.

No sales or spam

No selling to or spamming other members is allowed in this group. Anyone who does so will be subject to immediate removal.

Respect Pronouns

Please ensure that you are always respectful of the pronouns of other members. Gender identity is also to be respected. Not applying this rule is seen as a form harassment and a ban will occur

Identity First Language is the preference here

Please respect that the preference in this group is identity first language. Also remember that we have all had to start somewhere and for some marginalised communities this choice is not available

We advocate for social model of autism

Faerlie Autey campaigns and advocates for the social model of autism instead of deficit focused medical model. When working towards NDIS funding we may need to use medicalised terminology
